Our Mission

Our grandmother made soap during the depression and World War II, which she shared with the American troops who were stationed in Italy. Also refilling, repurposing, and wrapping everything in paper is a way of life there. We’ve understood this concept for a long time and recognized an opportunity to bring this idea to our local neighborhood. 

Most of our merchandise at Square One is made in the USA and handcrafted with sustainable materials. The ingredients are mostly organic with no chemicals or additives. Everything in our store is packaged in a container that is reusable or biodegradable. We hope to grow awareness that a “plastic-free” lifestyle is possible without compromise. In fact, it will even help you feel good.
